General Information

ITS Desktop Support Services assists the user with the installation and configuration of computer programs and services.

 

Eligibility & Order Procedures

Available To: LSU-owned equipment.

Request Service: Submit a request to the Service Desk  OR  e-mail your request to servicedesk@lsu.edu.

Delivery Time: Up to 2 business days.
 

Technical Services (FREE)

There are some Free Services that are offered for the following systems:

  • Mainframe
  • Lotus Notes
  • Eduroam
  • LSU Email 
     

Technical Services (Charge Applies)

All non-free services will be charged a flat rate of $75 per hour. Special Projects will be individually assessed and you will receive a cost estimate. Please note, the $75 charge stands whether or not we reach resolution.

  • PC Installation
  • Loading a PC
  • Software Package Installation
  • Diagnostic with Software Repair
  • Virus Removal
